Re-Imagined Radio began in 2013, with live, public performances at the historic Kiggins Theatre in downtown Vancouver, Washington. Each episode explored radio drama as a unique form of storytelling. Radio Art.
We chose our content from the so-called "Golden Age of Radio," the 1930s to the 1950s, a time when radio dramas, stories, and shows were a popular and primary form of entertainment and information for listeners worldwide. We thought our audiences would enjoy seeing how these radio programs were produced live.
We broadcasted and live streamed some of our early performances globally on community radio stations KXRW-FM and KXRY-FM. The digital recordings we made of our performances later became the basis for our podcast series.
Almost everything we have produced since 2013 is available here, our archival website, through our podcast series, and our YouTube channel.
